Looking to sell my 2006 Yamaha WR250F dirt bike. I don't ride it that much anymore and could use the garage space. Bike is in Snohomish County, WA but I'm willing to work out transporting it within reason.
***SPF*** Asking $2500 OBO. I'd be interested in trades, too. (price reduced to a little below KBB) Trade interests are a high quality gun safe (Summit, Sturdy, Liberty, etc.), a nice stainless 1911, a lever action .22lr or .22mag, a S&W J-frame .22lr or .22mag kit gun. Not really interested in bolt guns or hunting shotguns. You may need to add cash depending on what you have for trade.
This is a great trailbike. It has the same engine as the YZ motocross model, but has electric start and a wide ratio gearbox for trails.
It only has about 30-40 hours on it so it's hardly been used and never abused.
The only blemish is a slightly tweaked rear fender which has a little twist from an unplanned inspection of a log during a ride (see the 3rd pic). It's only cosmetic and doesn't cause any rideability, performance, or longevity issues.
I've done the following mods to it:
I'll also include some accessories like a 6' aluminum loading ramp, helmet, extra air filter, extra oil filters, and the factory service manual.

I've done the following mods to it:
- New battery
- YZ throttle stop (opens the throttle up all the way - the stock WR limits throttle opening)
- JD Jetting (jetted for 0-3000' elevation)
- Zip Ty fuel screw (allows for fuel mixture adjustment without tools)
- Magnetic oil drain plug (keeps oil clean)
- Pro Moto Billet exhaust tip (slightly opens up stock restrictive exhaust and gives a throaty sound)
- Guts Racing tall seat (easier to stand up for riders taller than 5'6")
- Unabiker radiator guards (prevents broken/bent radiators)
- Utah Sportcycle skid plate (prevents frame damage)
- Cycra Pro Bend handguards (prevents tree branches and rocks from injuring hands or damaging levers)
- Michelin S12 tires (soft terrain tires that are great for the softer dirt in western WA)
I'll also include some accessories like a 6' aluminum loading ramp, helmet, extra air filter, extra oil filters, and the factory service manual.
