For sale or trade is this fine specimen of WWII history. Speewerk CYQ P-38 made in Czechloslovakia in 1945. I have looked this over as has a P-38 collector and it is correct throughout as best that can be determined with help from the Speewerk Collectors site. Here are the specs I gleaned:
#39XX T indicates 1945 production
Inspection code: Eagle over "88"
Magazine: ENM 18th variation
JDV on the spine and rectangular weld spots
Spare mag: ENM first variation
Issued in 1944
"BYF 44"
Grips: Julius Posselt
IW/41 Indicates late model
#7 on the left grip panel and #10 on the right grip panel
Above the slide spring on the frame is #430
All other numbers are true to the serial number.
That is the most information I can present as I am not a collector of these weapons. I am dropping the asking price $650 which is under the price on an auction site. I will consider offers or trades for revolvers with cash in my coffer. Please respond to this post or call me at 541-401-1063. I don't text. I am in Lebanon and will meet with a serious buyer from Keizer to the Eugene area. All FFL fees are on the buyers dime.
