Spanish Mauser - Fabrica De Armas Oviedo, Spain - 1928. 7mm Mauser (7 x 57).
This is a sporterized version. The mid-stock sight is missing. The bore bright and very respectable. The action is smooth and easy to operate.
I am including the original stock (matching numbers) which I just discovered.

Oviedo produced these rifles from 1896 to 1928. The Spanish Model 1893 is one of the most famous Mauser type rifles ever to be employed. The gun was the first with a Mauser action to feature a stripper clip loaded magazine. These rifles had a long service history being employed by Spanish troops who served in Cuba and in the Philippines during the Spanish American war as well as in Spain itself including during the country's brutal Civil War.
