Shoot I used to have a ton of these from the 7.62x54r days. I would have given you one.

By the way, plain ole manual can openers work too with a little modification.

I've found them at Pawn Shops. Normally at <$5.

OR

Next time you make a "deal" to by a can of ammo. Hit up the seller. Who knows....maybe he'll throw one in for free? Especially, since ammo prices are crazy nowadays.

No I have not, I prefer boxes much lighter. It also seems my multi-tool has a can opener that looks almost identical to the spam can opener. So if you got one give it a look and see if it will work.

Bayonet or Heavy duty screwdriver,
tap it in along the inside of the rim on top, gently tap the screwdriver from the side with the hammer slowly working you're way around.

Last few cans I opened, I used the screw driver type method like in the videos.

However I use a sharp chisel instead of a screw driver.
