    This came from the factory in '96 with the ceracoated frame ?

    Not sure what Kimber called the finish, if anything. It is on the slide AND frame.

    And yes. The finish came from the factory as a limited run.

    Just remember the ALL Kimbers were made in NY according to the Kimber historians (even though the frame castings say otherwise).

    The first Kimber limited edition guns were some stainless targets in 1998 and then the NRA Heritage in 2000. I've seen this referenced many times. This looks like a Clackamas Custom Classic that has been sprayed later (the finishes on the Classic Custom were rather fragile).

    Do you have some factory documentation for it?
