As in the title, this 1942 Sako is in superb condition with the bolt matching the barrel as usual. The metal is in as new excellent condition; the front sight is original, as shown by the arsenal matched "73" on the sight blade and barrel. The stock is as-new, a proper 3-piece with the appropriate Sako stamp, dated 1942 (no post-war replacement stocks are so marked). The receiver is a 1915 Tula. The bore is as-issued, bright and sharp; for the cast bullet shooters, the lands measure .298, the grooves .314. If you can find a better Finnish Sako out in the wild, buy it. Otherwise, buy mine at $450 atdealer of your choice in Vancouver. No trades please
