This is one of the newer Colt retro guns.
Label on the box reads:
1911 Military Retro, Government Model, .45 Auto,
Matte Blued, Limited Edition
Model 0
It appears to be a 1911 (not A1) remake of a matte version of a Colt Black Army (I believe the black army did not have a matte finish though).
I got the gun used and have maybe put 50rds through it. It just sits in the safe (needs a new home). It has an arched mainspring housing is not "correct" for a WWI vintage gun. I had always planned on replacing it with a vintage part but have never gotten around to it. It does appear to have the correct style hammer, safety and sights. The roll marks appear to be correct for a WWI gun (I'm not an expert by any means, so check for yourself).
Gun comes as seen in the pics with blue Colt box and one 7rd magazine (not Colt marked). And the little Colt booklet.
Price is $950 cash money in Salem. Transfer at Tick Licker on S Commercial in Salem; buyer pays fees.
