Selling my 300 Win Mag. It's a Savage 116 FHSS, bought new earlier this year. Has Accutrigger and Accustock (full aluminum chassis from tang to front swivel stud). Shoots 200gr handloads under 1" at 100 yards. Never hunted with this rifle.
Rifle has black stock, hinged floorplate, and stainless metal. The scope mount is a DNZ 1-pc (low) which allows for plenty of access to the loading port. Had a 42mm scope on this rifle with room for scope caps.
This is NOT the same rifle as the Savage combos sold at Bi-Mart or boxstores. Although nice rifles, those do not have the Accustock (stiff!) or hinged floorplate. The 116 FHSS was very difficult to locate locally so it was special ordered. Most Savages sold locally have the flimsy stocks and/or blind mags or the detachable mag. If you want a floorplate and Accustock in a hard hitting chambering, this is your rifle!
