Smith-Corona 1903A3 30.06 Rifle. This was a project that my gunsmith was working on on before he passed away. We were in the process of turning the 03A3 into a Replica 03A4 sniper, the rifle started out as 1903A3 Smith-Corona rifle, we replaced the barrel with a Nos RA dated 6-44 barrel and I have two scopes, a weaver 330 with post sight and a Lyman Alaskan scope (this was an approved replacement if the weavers were not available), what's missing to finish the project is a redfield mount and rings and parkerizing the rifle. While this will never be a real 03A4, I was building this as a shooter.the reality is I have too many projects and with Tim gone I will never finish this rifle. Rifle is in LaPine. Transfer would be required with an FFL and I will split the cost

Wow, I didn't know that Tim had passed away. I had him do some work for me, and was more than impressed. Visiting his shop, meeting him and his wife, I could tell that he loved what he was doing and was a master craftsman. My heart goes out to his family.
