You can make a simple moisturizer by adding a little olive oil to a bowl of water. Say about a teaspoon per pint water. After washing hands or face, dip a hand in and spread on hands or face. Or on body after bathing. Let absorb for a minute or two. Then wipe off excess. Refined olive oil is best. Unrefined can be too smelly and goes rancid. Figured this out decades ago when I was doing long camping and backpacking trips. Carried a little plastic bottle of olive oil and used as addition to food, as moisturizer, and fire starter. My standard moisturizer. Avoids unnecessary additives, sugars, and perfumes. It doesnt have an emulsifier to suspend oil in water. So the dollop of oil floats on the bowl of water. But it doesnt really matter. The price is sure right.
