Sights for Picatinny rail?

Considering buying a .223 build with a full length Pic rail. I'd probably only shoot at the range and then have it "around the house" if evil comes knocking. Fixed sights, holo, or laser...and why? I'd appreciate comments, and I thank you! Price is a consideration also, but not crucial.

This -

Primary - Mbus, and don't buy off amazon if you want the real thing. Start here and get used to the sights.

Secondary - Add the Red Dot, w/Shake Awake if you can find it so you don't have to turn it on in an emergency situation and the batteries are not dead. For "co-witness" I prefer Absolute Co-Witness so the site picture stays the same with either, or. If this is an unfamiliar term, you can Google it and decide for yourself.

I appreciate the magpul MBUS sights for their value and ability to bend/deflect and not break.

I really can't stand the rear aperture. The circle is surrounded by a thick square. Circle in a circle works better for me. So maybe try to look at some first before buying if you wanna go that route.
