Now why did SIG have to go and do this ?
I'm sure my wife wants me to have one.

If I was to get a 320, it would be that one.
I'm not really interested in the others but that's one I would like to have.
But for $1300 I can live without it.

If you already have a 320 and want to save a few bucks, Sig also sells the AXG grip module separately.

I'm a yuge P320 fan.

You have to know your P320 barrel/slide lengths if you are swapping P320 parts.
The above AXG grip module matches up to a 3.9" barrel/slide assembly for a flush dust cover fit.
If you had a Sub-Compact or X-Compact the 3.6" barrel/slide assembly would be too short.
A 4.7" slide/barrel combo would work and have the M17 look (see below).

The P320 barrel slide combos can be confusing.

Grip Modules
1) Standard grip module, most P320's in the wild are standard grip module.
2) X-modules, these are target inspired frames....my favorite.
3) Legion frame (grip module in SIG nomenclature). It's an X-module made with tungsten infused polymer.
4) AXG - Looks like a cross between standard and X to me and it's of aluminum alloy.

Standard grip modules compared :

I have a full size X-Five and a full size Legion.
They are super-easy to shoot accurately.
They are both size M modules and fit big hands very well.
Most full size P320 full size grip modules (X or standard) in the wild are size M.
There is an S and L size but they are hard to find.

Edit:
And then on top of all that the dust cover lengths on the grip modules can have different (appearing) lengths.
For example :
The M17 Army version full size grip module is about 3/4" short of being full length with the 4.7" slide.
The M18 Marine version uses the same grip module but it fits flush with the 3.9" slide.
The Legion full size is about 1/4" shy of fitting flush with its unique 5" barrel/slide.

Edit2:
I probably missed something.

This isn't too old of a thread... so here goes.

I don't remember seeing the OP or advertising for the AXG classic.

I just finished getting all the parts and swapping them today while listening to a work meeting.

Here's what an X5 slide and FCU looks like in an AXG with walnut grips.

I might use the black grips on the other AXG that I have.

Sweet 320! Love the AXG grip frame & Xfive legion slide combo. Is there a slight gap between the frame and dustcover??

Nope, no gap at all.

This is the Xfive not the Legion version. Though I have both and the difference must be internals. If I put this slide on my Legion TXG, it is hard to tell from a distance, you would have to be up close to read the slide and notice that it didn't have Legion markings.

Just go Legion grip module and a subcompact (3.6) slide. Haha. The modularity of the P320 is awesome!
