So I am sending a LCP back to Ruger for some work - I've got it in the original box and then inside another box with packing peanuts...

The box I have isn't super big, so two of the ends on the smaller box are touching the larger box... is that okay?

I am used to shipping electronics and camera lenses where everything needs like, 2" of protection on all sides.

Are guns that picky?

Should be just fine, I have shipped in just the factory box, inside a brown box, no peanuts or other packaging. IT IS IMPORTANT TO INCLUDE YOUR RETURN INFO INSIDE WITH THE FIREARM, ALONG WITH CONTACT (PHONE) INFO AND BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM AND your RMA #. . They shipped them back in brown boxes.
