Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Rumor has it that these are a pain to install yourself, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a competent gunsmith or wizard who won't charge an arm and a leg to swap sights (front and rear) on two Shields I have… preferably in the Tigard/Portland area.
@spookshack It wasn't as bad as I had heard, but definitely trickier than Glock sights.
I can see why some folks get intimidated by them. They're very tight, and my pusher block was actually deformed by the force needed to move them (it was an inferior product that I ended up returning because of this), but I managed to do it without any damage to anything other than the pusher.
