Beat this up pretty good this morning. 147 gr suppressed made for quite a violent recoil compared to normal. Held zero fine. I have confidence in this optic but prob wouldn't put on edc without long term testing just due to price. Great deal imo.

Do you plan on testing it with different calibers? 🤔 I'm glad to hear it'll hold up to 9mm with ease.
Yea next time I'm gonna put it on .308 8.5" pistol. Rapid fire with that will give a bit of a different test I think but moving slide is probably harder on it (guessing).

Ordered another one. Have an optics plate for a Jericho that it could go on or may get a plate for a SAR USA gun. With the Arex it was making offhand shooting easy as pie.

I'm debating ordering another one to throw onto an AR-9 🤔
I'm trying to get it as slimline/compact as possible. Fe; mini buffer tube and smaller red dot like the posted.

FYI Ventura munitions has this compact tailhook pistol brace and buffer tube for $50 shipped. If it doesn't show on sale wait and it should come back on sale. It's adjustable. Does not come with a folding adapter or castle nut.

Got a link? I can't seem to find it
Darn looks like it must have sold out because I don't see them listed anymore when clicking the link below. I know they were in stock a couple weeks ago.

@ilikegunspdx Do you have any experience with this brands Streamlight TLR-1 clone/knockoff?

I'm torn between that and the Feyachi HL-20.....
I don't have any experience with that one. Seems to me they are all pretty much the same except perhaps lesser known brands may exaggerate on the lumens.

Fwiw I did buy this rifle light just to try it out and the 1600 lumen claim is likely accurate cuz it's a lot bright let than a 1000 lumen one I have.

If the reviews are good on the cvlife light I'm sure it would be fine.

((Read Edit))
I just ordered my RMR red dot. I used the first code that was supplied by the thread starter. Today, it was $34.99 total.
I've had good luck with CVLIFE stuff. It isn't fancy by any means, but it has all worked & I haven't broken anything yet. I'm NOT very kind to my toys. If anyone is gunna break it, it's me.
(Edit)
Unfortunately I ended up having to send 2 of them back before I gave up on this model. Both of them refused to shut off, so shake awake wasn't an option. The second one also developed a "blurry" dot that actually looked like 2-3 dots some times & 1 dot at other times. I didn't even shoot with either one.

@ilikegunspdx have you been able to shoot more with this dot??? I ordered another one to replace the one I sold on a slide, it would be awesome to feel confident running one full-time
Just shot the sar k12 this morning with it. At first I thought dot was screwd up cuz groups weren't that great. But then I put the one shot brace on and and I was getting 1/4"-1/2" 2-shot groups at 25 yds. So it wasn't the dot it was me. Need to shoot it more as I didn't have much time on the k12 this morning. The one on the arex shoots lights out.

One shot brace

mostly shot .308 and glock with binary this morning.

Awesome to hear…. This time I'll actually go out and shoot, not just LARP around the house 😂😂
