The good folks at Brightwater Ventures found me a Marlin 1895 SBL that I'll be picking up this week. Pretty excited about this rifle. Most of my collection consists of tactical and personal defense based firearms and I know next to nothing about rifle scopes. I haven't hunted for many years but may go for an elk next year and this would be the rifle I use.

How bout some suggestions for a good mid-range hunting scope... it'll be mounted on an 18" barrel with a scout rail.
