They are burning the fuel anyway hitting training squares, why not kill two birds with one stone?
People at Harborview are not used to flyovers, and these will likely be lower than the normal local training altitudes. Out of the 43 hospitals I doubt more than 5 regularly see any military aircraft overhead. If people watch and enjoy it, great. If people don't enjoy it, no harm.
Thanks for posting/sharing this! As someone who avoids the made up information to create fear and sell ad space (the "news"), I never would've heard of this. I thoroughly enjoyed it as did my retired military family in Idaho that I FaceTimed to share in the experience
The engines on an F15 make an F18 sound like mouse farts.
We're getting the F-15"s from Oregon ANG doing flyovers of all the hospitals in the region tomorrow. They will hit the Beaverton area around 0915.
Sound of freedom baby!
Makes the progressive!s brain explode.
I used to live right next door to NAS Oceana in VA Beach. I never got tired of those F-18's. Then when they got the Super Hornets......shuuuuuudder.
Love 'em! Watching them do nighttime aerial gunnery practice at the ruins of Tarnak Farms just outside the wire at KAF was so much fun.I'm partial to A-10's...aka Warthogs!
