Released from SB Tactical... customers who purchased from them between Sep 19th and Dec 13th, 2022... may have had their full personal info compromised. Including CC#'s, expiration dates and CVC numbers.

They are encouraging those customers to carefully monitor their CC statements and/or to take action to have their CC cancelled/reissued.

ATF, likely….
It does seem a bit oddly suspicious in light of the impending pistol brace rule... doesn't it.

The notice didnt say what type of breech. It seems unlikely they would be holding onto that depth of transactional records. AFAIK, CVC data isn't typically saved.

It makes you wonder if it wasn't a logging breech of ongoig transactions that they just recen't became aware of (?) That's a little scarier and stinks more of enhanced capability than your typical DB miner.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't them.

Glad I bought those knock offs off Amazon instead!

Good reminder of...

1. Don't reuse passwords.

2. Only have sites save your CC number if needed for auto/recurring orders.

3. If possible for you; use unique e-mail addresses for sites.

4. Use e-burner credit cards for all online transactions.

Con: May not be accepted by all merchants that do in-depth authorizations, but from my experience, that's fairly rare and alternative merchant options typically exist.
