I have a Golden state arms, Santa Fe model 1946 rifle in 30-06.

Unknown round count. It's in great Shape.
Has a weaver mounted weaver k4-E USA scope that is super clear.
Rifle shoots great. Has one scuff on the bluing (pictured) Other than that it's super clean.

I picked it up a year or two ago in a deal and I let the kids shoot it a hand full of times. But they like their 243 more.

So this is on the chopping block.

250$ cash. Buyer to meet at elite buyers nw in west Salem and will be responsible for the 25$ transfer.

These rifles are sporterized Mauser 98 rifles...
Most of the time the original / wartime markings have been removed.

In any event...they are well put together...and shoot just fine.

I had one of these Santa Fe rifles that was built on the 1903a3 type action, my particular action was marked Remington.

I see his is different than mine was, I guess they spread the Santa Fe name around a bit.

The "Sharpshooter" is a different model...based on the 03A3 Action...
The "Model 1946" is based on Mauser 98 actions....

"Santa Fe" / Golden State was the importer / brand name of these rifles.
