Infiltrating quietly the meetings is a very good tactic. Sign up, attend the meetings, meditate and keep your mouth shut, take notes, and gather any handouts. Be a spy. Act like a Moms supporter.

Disappointed that I can't make the two-day drive. I have a valid family address in Baker I could use.

So this anti self defense rally is scheduled for the same day the legislature is setting to vote on the SB 941 backround check bill, how convenient. I've emailed every politician in the state and requested they vote NO but I've gotten a few responses saying there's not much they can do, it's up to us to find the counties reps that are on the fence about it and sway their opinion, convince them to support the right of an individual to buy/sell a gun to another individual, without the Government reaching their hands in your pockets for their cut too. Thousands of good people privately sell firearms to other good upstanding people in this state each week, naturally there may be some risk, but the reality of a bill as big and nasty as SB 941 reaping it's wrath on the people of Oregon for years to come far outweights any perceived risk, we don't deserve this crap, and we need to put our foot down and prevent this. Foriegners paid to walk into our state, hit specific counties and bed down for a year or two, rally town meetings and loop propaganda advertisements prime time, to sway their county representative into a turncoat vote is absolutely insane.

The libs can set-up there silly rallies during work hours because they are all living off the government, while we work and pay our taxes so they can try to take our rights. (generalized statement) ill try to send as many people that way as possible. We should just give people 20 bucks to go stand there and hold a sign for us.

When I posted that it was just a rally, the hearing for UBC had not been announced. I would have done it too just to see what the Moms Demanding Attention would do! With the UBC hearing I agree, not a good idea.

I won't make it anyway, I'll be out of state.

This is clear evidence that the Democratic leaders are working with anti-gun groups. They obviously tipped them off as to when the bill was going to be introduced and heard, so that they could plan a demonstration at the optimal time.

Do we know if any protests against this Bill are planned yet? They would have to be organized quickly, as I think an attempt may be made to ramrod this through the legislature real fast.

I think what most of these mommies need is a good hard spanking. I volunteer for this duty. I think I have the proper tools and ropes.
