I've had my sights set on the Shield for awhile now, missed out on a couple deals and most recently passed one on to get my friend his first firearm. Looking to pay about $300 but I am flexible depending on accessories.

I'm also looking at getting my first 1911. Doesn't matter if 45 or 9mm, just not .22lr (unless it's one of the aforementioned including a .22lr slide). I would like to to be more of a project and I missed out on a clearance of ATI 1911s from PSA for $300 so that's about the price point I'm looking for, again, flexible with accessories.
