Another price drop, guys, and I'll throw in the extra grips and holster at no charge if you want them. This is the last price drop and chance, if there continues to be zero interest, I'll just hang onto it for a few months, then see where the market is. Note trade change as well, and thanks for looking.

Another edit, guys, changed my trade interests, it occurs to me I really don't need another pistol, and I really DO need a new chrono. Later.

So I really wanted to like this gun, but I've come to the conclusion that I'm just not a revolver guy. So time for it to go to someone that can appreciate it.

Up for sale is my Smith & Wesson 625-6 in .45 ACP. This is a 5" barreled "Model of 1989", although the serial number says it was manufactured in 1999. I'm not the original owner, so I have no idea of total round count, but I've added about 500 rounds to whatever it is. Trigger is typical S&W excellence, very crisp SA, and very smooth DA, no creep and only a small amount of overtravel. From what I've been able to learn, this is the last pre-lock model, and the first that had some MIM parts, I believe the trigger and hammer. Also has a frame mounted firing pin.

This is an accurate, soft, flat shooting revolver, being a heavyweight .45 ACP, it's a real pussycat to shoot. Accuracy is excellent in the right hands, and the moon clips make reloads fast and easy. Lock-up is tight, with no end shake, cylinder gap is about .003". No timing issues, and very little apparent wear that I can see, although I'll admit I'm no expert on revolvers. Just an overall excellent shooter, unfortunately, it's just not my cup of tea.

Comes with original box, manual, and 4 OEM moon clips. Asking price is $1000 $900 $850 shipped to FFL of your choice, payment via USPS money order. More pics available on request via email. Will also consider partial trades for the following:

Lab Radar chronograph.
Primers! Rifle of pistol, large or small, but don't need magnums. Not brand picky, but do prefer CCI.

But wait, there's more!

SOLD! BMT Mooner tool, if you're going to own a .45 ACP revolver, you NEED this tool! $90 $80 shipped.

SOLD! 50 Revolver Supply moon clips, 40 of these are unused. $40 $35 shipped.

Hogue Tamer grip. This looks very much like the factory grip, which is also a Hogue, but this one covers the backstrap, and there's a little more palm swell. The difference is subtle, but it does make a difference, especially if you have larger hands. $20 shipped.

Comp-Tac International holster, this is a Kydex holster than can be configured in multiple ways, either as a belt slide, a paddle, or with a drop offset. This is really only suitable as a range holster IMO, or possibly some types of competition, but I definitely wouldn't consider it as a carry holster. Price is $50 $40 shipped.

Any questions, ask them here, for specific pic requests, PM your email address. Thanks for looking.
