There was an ad on the S&W Forum for two 1006 mags a month ago. Originally posted for 190 shipped for the pair. After a week he lowered them to 170 shipped and someone snagged them.

Damn. That's still 85 each.

Might be a long shot (pun intended...) worth exploring, but maybe a 4506 mag would work with the 10mm cartridge. Ive heard it does in 1911s....
