I didn't mention it but I stuck one on layaway that day. I picked it up yesterday! I looked in the front while I was waiting on the background check and it didn't look like they had in stock now.

Surplus Arms and Ammo, Lakewood, WA. They have ONE for sale, brand new. I handled it for awhile but couldnt convince myself to buy it. They are good looking/feeling guns though!
$799.99 (I swear when these first came out, I saw them for $649.99)

You probably did. The demand is pushing the price up to full MSRP or above. Just have to convince myself to wait and wait and eventually they might come down if Ruger can catch up on production.

Yeah, I have seen them priced online for under $650 but of course they don't have any..........I will wait until things settle out a bit.

I was just at Surplus Ammo & Arms in Lakewood today and they have one in their case. Looks like a pretty nice pistola.

Gun Broker Clackamas had one today around 4pm, $699. I didn't ask, they may have more than one. Layaway is available too. Or atleast it was when I bought mine.

Barbara from Albany Guns called me Wednesday to let me know they had two of them in stock. Price was $729. I took a pass on it; I hear they went down their waiting list of names and got no takers but sold both of them that day.

I bought mine from Bob's also. About 3 weeks ago, for $629. Shoots awesome! Have about 450 rounds through it so far and not a single failure. You just can't beat the quality and price point for an American made stainless steel 1911. Bob's did have a Remington R1S for $699.
