I gave the other P-Series Ruger a bump and testimony, so:

If anyone is hesitating on this gun, don't. The Ruger P-Series 9mms are workhorses. I have never had a FTF and only 2 FTEs in thousands of rounds through mine. They are very comfortable to shoot, soft-recoiling, and very accurate. My buddy purchased an SR-9 the same day I picked up my first P-Series 9mm. Three trips to the range later, and my friend was thinking that his thin-profile, striker-fired SR-9 was a bad deal. In the parlance of our times, "just sayin'."
