I just built a MarkIII 22/45 lite did all the standard upgrades to it plus a sparrow.

I like the 6 1/2" standard barrel. We are all built differently in so many ways, but I find a bull barrel to be nose heavy and any added accuracy to be unnecessary for normal shooting. I also don't care for the grip on the target models.

I have a 1976 model in stainless that's stamped "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty." Any time I'm offered a price or trade for that gun I'm reminded of Charlton Heston's "From my cold, dead hands."
