Edit - I had a chance to put 5rds through this and it grouped very well, about a 1" group at approximately 100yds., I didn't have a chance to zero the scope though, as I only had 5 rounds and a piece of cardboard to shoot at.

This is a more rare ST model, which has a smooth top that uses Remington 700 pattern bases opposed to Ruger style rings. I think it was made in 1980, based off the serial number. The bluing is excellent, stock is good, and may have bee refinished. At some point someone added a small compass to the stock. This one also has open sights. It has a newer Leupold VX1 3-9x40 gloss scope and new Leupold rings and bases. Scope and mounts were just installed at Fisherman's and bore sighted.

The only down side to this rifle is a ding on the muzzle. It's ugly, but shouldn't effect performance, previous owner said it shot great.

Also comes with a box of shells.

Yes it is. It may not be refinished, but it looks like it to me.

That is cool. How long ago did you own it?

It's been years I'd guess. 4-5 maybe. I think I got it in Wilsonville and sold/traded it in Corvallis.
