Must sell my Ruger model M77VTMKII-LE in a .308 Win cal. Looking to purchase a lighter .308 for an easier packing rifle.
This M77 has a 26 inch tapered heavy barrel, 400 series, heat treated & hammer forged, stainless steel match grade with matte finish.
The trigger is a two stage target type with adjustments for letoff & sear engagement down to 40oz.

Awesome rifle! Why not just cut the barrel down to 20" and save a lot of weight that way? If you recrown properly, you will see ZERO reduction in accuracy... just throwing that out there. Nice rifle tho

Thanks! I am just looking for a different platform all together. Looking at the Ruger Scout or the Savage Scout. Both with 16 1/2 " barrels and still lighter even if I cut this one down to 20 inches.
