color is no problem, 8-10 would be great gladly pay you for them.

My bx25s frustrate me; to the point where I rather use the rotary 10 mag. Constant failure to feed bulk .22. Both on a bolty and semi auto platform. Will give the tape a try.

I have 8 or 9 of the bx-25 mags they all jam, I did the. 22 short case trick and they still jam,saw another trick were you build up the back of the mag to eliminate the back and forth wobble, tried it on 4 mags to ruger and two butlercreek mags and they all ran great. Used two layers of gorilla tape 3/8" wide across the bottom.

Thanks for your post. Prepping to add the tape to cure my jamming, I noticed a difference between the opaque bx25 and the clear bx25: the ridge on the clear side was raised on all 4 of my clear samples while the opaque ridges aligned perfectly. All 8 were standard Ruger mags. See photos.

Inserted, the clear mags had no wiggle forward or back. Very tight. I remember several jammed every 3-5 rounds.
Inserted, the opaque mags had wiggle, but I do not remember the one I used was jammimg.

All ammo has been Aguila cphp 38 gr 1280 fps. It has always grouped much better than CCI or others I have tried and never jams with 10 rd mag.

I need to spend a day and verify if the jamming behavior is consistent within each type of mag. The fit and ridge misalignment is definitely consistent.

Thanks again for starting me on this quest.

I have had two offers from people to make me the 3D printed shim but so far no one has done so yet.

I had a Monday morning hangover bolt I just polished up on a genuine ruger. It was easily fixed with sanding to 2000 grit. But it was very rough on the bottom of the bolt and there were some spots where it would catch.
This polishing trick is a free upgrade that is included in many You Tube Videos. Polish the ejector and firing pin smoothing the edges of the broad width with 2000 grit or a wet stone. The pressed pieces all have stamp edges that will reduce friction.... nice and smooth

I sent 8 mags back to Ruger and they came back with new followers and the same problems as before, after seeing guys at the range using the 25 rd mags with no problems I bought two new mags they came with a larger bump out on the back of the mag and work great in my rifle.
