I would have to say that it is only 22lr. Would it say somewhere on the gun to indicate that it can shot other calibers?

if it has a Steel Frame it is a Super Bearcat and that is a Super verified by the serial number starting with 91-

The one shown is one of the first 37K made as shown by the Brass anodized trigger guard. Later versions had a blued steel guard.
