The Hogue grips do a great job of reducing the felt recoil, firing full loads doesn't sting your hand. It's much better than firing 38+P out of my 642.

I used to own one myself and yes you can easily shoot 50 rounds through one of these if you're familiar with 44Mag. Easy to carry and very shootable!

I fired a box of Winchester whitebox through it on my first range trip with it no problem. With that everyone is different.
