I looked at Ruger's website, and it says these use rotary magazines. Does this mean it takes the same mags as the 10/22? Because that would be friggin sweet!

So a search on the ol' internet reveals that this rifle does indeed use the same magazines as the 10/22.

...a little happy news for everyone...Ruger shipped me my BX-25 mags today that I didn't order until post-frenzy on January 11th.....That's a good thing.
Yes, a 1022 magazine will operate just fine in a 7722.
However: A factory 10rd magazine designed for the 7722 will have a bevel on the bottom portion of it, accomodating the taper in the stock. A 1022 10-rd factory magazine, inserted into a 7722 will have a slight protrusion as a result of not being beveled.
