I'll I can say is........if you CCW as a civilian.......

Don't bother attempting to go on base. Not even if it's only to look at the Museum.

Aloha, Mark

So you don’t want to drive and want someone else to pay for the gas and provide the transportation for you? Are you looking for a free Uber?

CCW as in.....

Concealed
Carry
Weapon

Story Time.
As a retired LEO with a WA CCW, I once tried to get on base (JBLM) to visit the Museum. But before going through the gate, I informed the guard that I was carrying.

"Pull over there in the parking lot (pointing towards the visitor's p/lot) and go inside."

No problem. As I didn't want to block the traffic. So then, I spoke with the desk people and showed them my ID and other documents. LOL. I even offered to have it locked up at the Provost Marshall's Office or in my vehicle. Nope, they weren't having any of it.

Entry Denied.

BTW, that was only a couple of months after the shooting at Fort Hood (Maj. Nidal HASAN) incident.

Yup. Can't trust an ex-LEO. But a US Army Major with phycological problems and a hate for America/Americans?

Rrrrright......
Whatever, their base.....their rules.

Aloha, Mark

Is JBLM closing? Or are these just garage sale dates for stuff that doesn't usually tend to go to the auctions?

Saw that myself. Interesting arrangement, as it seems there's nothing in it for the driver short of Haymaker's pleasant personality. I get that hangin' out by myself.

Oh, who the hell am I kidding? I can't even stand my own damned company! :s0140:

Like the Springsteen song Better Days:
"But it's a sad man my friend who's livin' in his own skin
And can't stand the company" 😆

As much as The Boss has really turned hard Left, I still love that song...
Ah Bruce the communist!
Ain't it just the saddest thing? It gets harder and harder to compartmentalize the politics from the music/acting/etc. Don't even get me started on the "country" artists. Man, when I was young, Bruce was just rockin' it and I had no idea (and certainly didn't care) what his political inclinations were. Saw him live in Portland three times. He gave you your money's worth.

Agreed, I saw him in Tacoma on the born in the usa tour and always liked his darker blue collar themed stuff. Turns out many artists who’s music I like have political views that don’t align with mine. Neil Young and Steve Earle are a couple that come to mind along with Bruce.

Not "aligning" with one's views is one thing. Supporting the likes of the senile pedo in office and actively preaching to remove the right to bear arms and free speech is much bigger thing. Too many elite, multi multimillionaires , out of touch with regular Americans, trying to destroy what made this country great! May they ESAD!

Agree with both. Saw him in the Astrodome (Houston) on The River tour in the early 80s. Bobbygun's right, you sure got your money's worth at a Boss concert then.
And osprey's right on, too. Love the very early Boss and the stuff like Nebraska (which never got a tour).

And must agree here. Alignment is one thing, total disregard for rights and being a regime propaganda puppet is quite the other.
