Returning long time member

Joined NWF several years ago but was too busy with work to contribute much. Did some lurking just to see what folks were talking about. Retired from High Tech 3 years ago and basically went off the grid - no cell phone, e-mail, computers, etc. Fired my computer up about 6 months ago and found NWF again, figured I had time now contribute.
Hobbies include making AR's and 1911's from 80% lowers, powder coating the lowers and building several different calibers. Reload every caliber I shoot (except 22

). Also like modifying 10/22's.

If I do a two coat coating, yes it really messes with the tolerances. Single coat actually works very well. I don't have any issues with trigger pin walkout. Safety is sometimes a little tight - nothing a fine grit sandpaper won't fix. Uppers fit nice and tight.
