Does anyone make a decent corndog anymore? There is a local food truck that moves around called The Corn Dog Company. Their stuff looks good on their website. My wife has plans of us visiting their food truck this Sunday. The last decent corndog I had was at Disneyland - over 20 years ago.
Just to follow up. After the Outdoor Show at the Lane County Fairgrounds, my son and I stopped at Wilco in Springfield where The Corndog Company had their food truck. Very good corndogs. Two thumbs up from us. Highlight of the trip since the Outdoor Show was a bit of a disappointment. I get enough mail solicitations from the leaf guards for my gutters and new doors and windows for my home. Those types of booths seem to have replaced ones that were actually outdoor sports related. The Bow Rack didn't even have a booth this year. :(

Too far away for a casual visit, but if you're ever doing an Oregon Coast road trip...
 
We ate at the Stuart Anderson's once or twice for special occasions, not all that impressive really, more name the anything else!
If ya wanted a good steak, there were many other places far better, especially for the cost!
#1) Hall Street Grill
#2 Sailors Old Country Kitchen
#3) Salty's
#4 The Stock Yard
#5 Atwaters
And several others, for the quality and cost, the Stock Yard was hands down the best of all steak houses in the whole tri-counties area, a real funky place that never advertised, they earned their reputation entirely word of mouth, they had an awesome collection of large scale model airplanes hanging from the ceiling, were talking museum grade hyper scale stuff,mostly WW-1 biplanes and such! The food was too shelf!
 
How about the King's Table in Salem, was in the Lancaster mall. That shut down before I had my driver license.

There's still a Black Angus restaurant in downtown Vancouver. I believe they've dropped "Stuart Anderson" from the name, so probably different ownership. We go there once or twice a year. The building is "dated", I suppose, but the food is good and reasonably priced. You can make a reservation but it's seldom crowded so wait times are short. Not popular with the younger crowd, I guess. We normally order their campfire feast for two. It includes an appetizer, 2 entrees, 4 side dishes and a dessert to share. Coupons are readily available that reduce the price to about $50. Add a couple upgrades, a couple cocktails and a tip, you're around $100 out the door for 2 people.

Not sure if they were the same everywhere but the one in Scottsdale all the tables were separated by dark smoked glass, very impressive as a kid when I went with my grandparents, very fun 10 or 15 years later on dates :s0033:
 
In the 90's there used to be this Burrito place in Bend on NW Hill St and NW Florida Ave that lots of us locals used to go to. Could get a huge burrito for pretty cheap, and they were pretty good too. Can't remember the name of it though.
Probably not the place you're talking about, but when we used to ski Mt. Bachelor in the 80's, Mexacali Rose was the place we always went for dinner. Loved that place.
