'Repurposed' Holster

Finally finished a project I started a couple years ago!

I modified an old S&W holster originally for a Mod 39 to fit my CZ 75 BD.

It took a little cutting and shaping, and a 'wet forming' when done but now fits it very well - maybe a little too well as it is a bit 'snug' but will loosen up.

I wish now I hadn't of dyed it black but it was old and stained so this 'kind of' cleaned it up!

I'm 'on the fence' about cutting the rear sight flap off....

I think it looks quite fine. And if it works, then it is icing on the holster, er cake.

I have more holsters than many stores. But occasionally I still end up with a gun and I don't have an appropriate holster. If I can modify an existing holster to fit, I am pleased with myself.

I remember your RVTECH handle from my old days on here, always thought we would end up meeting up. Used to spend 4-5hrs a day in your area and l enjoyed all folks we visited. Had teams on Wickiup Reservoir retrofit project 3mo/24/7 in the old days, always thought we would bump into each other, Bimart/gas/food. Wickiup used to be a pretty good lunch as I remember. Pleasure to finally meet you, I'm sure we have both had our fill of the wrecks, some memories there, (North & South). Some beautiful forest & lakes most people don't take the time to try and find, their loss.

Well, to be honest none actually and if I did know if any from CRR I would have forgotten them by now, unless I got to know them on a personal basis, which I have with several member of this forum but regardless IF I REMEMBERED who you were I certainly would not have asked.

No, I do not think we were 'at odds somehow' I simply do not remember who you 'were' previously.

I 'interface' with an LOT of people - not only on this forum but publicly, locally and on Ham radio as well so I certainly cannot be 'chastised' for simply NOT remembering someone HOWEVER are you aware your ORIGINAL account is still active? I just responded to it!
