This is an older 721 that I purchased from a coworker 10 years back. He had never shot it, and I believe his dad had given it to him. I don't know the history of the gun beyond that.
This was my primary hunting rifle for several years, and it's a great shooter (2 deer killed with it). I've recently moved to .280 Remington, and i'm slowly getting rid of my .270 stuff.
The wood is a little rough, but it's a hunting rifle, not a safe queen. Don't worry, this rifle still has many hunting years left in it.
