I have been working on a long gun this year and a Rem 700 SPS has been the platform that I started with. It's been a good rifle so far, shooting about 1 MOA but seemed more capable. It came stock with a Hogue stock which is comfortable but not that great. I recently swapped it for a Bell & Carlson medalist A2 and could not be happier!!! With match grade factory loads I am not getting very consistent sub MOA and when I really work on my breathing close to 1/2 MOA.
Upgrading the stock was the best thing I could have done for the rifle so far, I think a sharper trigger is next.
This was this morning after the new stock went on with 168g Nosler Match ammo.
