My Uncle Adrian was at PH and Normandy. A Navy retirey he was a stand up guy. I was 11 years old before he made me stop doing pull ups on his outstreched arms. I thought I would be able to do them forever.:thank you

Dad was in the Army air corp/Air Corp, father-in law was in the most devastated company in the most decorated unit in Europe. (company i, 442nd)

When refueling in Pearl Harbor, honor are always rendered to the Arizona. I don't know if it changed but in order to get to the refueling pier for the Navy and Coast Guard ships, you have to pass the Memorial. Hard not to shed a tear when passing.
