Hi all,
I'm not a "new" member per se, but it's been quite a while since I've posted. I've had a few trips to a certain region of South-West Asia well known for it's hostilities towards those of us with a Western inclination. That was followed closely by a very-much too long trip to the PSRK (People's Socialist Republic of Kalifornia) to live/ spend time with family.
I'm now back up in Oregon, in the Eugene/ Springtucky area and enjoying myself immensely. I've picked up the "bug" to build my own machine shop a la David Gingery (Gingery Book Store). If I can do well enough at that, I might even start rolling my own AR/AK/whatever receivers... but that's a few years down the road.
