I'm doing a small assembly for a range toy. It's not going to be a high end project. Just something to dink around with. So far, I've got an Anderson 5.56 upper. 16" barrel with 1:8 twist and 15" M-LOK handguard. Added a Primary Arms Pac2.5x32 prism scope, Magpul BUS and a Ti-7 buttstock. The buttstock has two waterproof compartments for whatever one can imagine going in that size space. I am waiting on a PSA lower, Toolcraft BCG (don't like current cheap one) and an Enhanced polished FCG. To the chagrin of some (which I don't care) am going to rattle can this bee ach just because! 😂 :D

Well, the lower came today. Still waiting on FCG/BCG, but for now, a small visual. :D

Found a little extra time on my hands this evening while waiting for it to cool off. Installed the Toolcraft BCG and the Enhanced Polished FCG. Everything function checked and the trigger, while not spectacular, is a bit crispier than the run of the mill Mil-Spec one it came with. Need to replace the charging handle too, but that's not a real hurry item.

On a side note, I've done more than my fair share of assemblies/builds and part change outs on the AR platform. I almost pulled a rookie mistake and temporarily miss placed the detent pin for the safety selector! Thought I was going to have to pull out the Sherlock Holmes magnifier, but my set of back up eyes managed to locate it to my relief and a few mumbled phrases under my breath! 😂 Anyway, range day to see if she's going to run or not coming soon.

I am going to supervise my wife's complete ground up assembly of an AR15 on Saturday. She says we are not spending enough time together. Hopefully all goes well and we can take it to the range on Sunday to test it out. I am going to make here first build easier with an M4E1 lower and a drop in trigger (if she's lucky).
