My wife already has purple belt, purple backstrap on her M&P and purple bullets (thanks to Donnie
at Bayou). I would be very interested in the special process that colors brass purple!:)

"ok Bob, I know you have been at the agency for only 2 weeks, but we have a great new item and we really need you to come up with awesome description of it so it will sell. "

"What is it?"

"get this, its ammo, except... purple! huh! huh"

"I have to try and market purple ammo"

"yeah bob, sell this stuff or your fired"

"NEVER BEFORE SEEN ON THE CIVILIAN MARKET! A fantastic value… with a twist. Shooters, Collectors, Historians and those enthusiastic about the unusual will love this ammunition. Not only is it incredibly functional and accurate, it's PURPLE! Produced as training ammunition for a major US Federal law enforcement agency, the unique purple brass shellcasing provides immediate visual reference for range officers. The brass casing on this ammo features a special treatment rendering it purple. Completely reloadable and function exactly as standard brass casings. Designed for target shooting or plinking at the range, the ammunition features a non-expanding bullet and is non-corrosive. Even if you never shoot it, you won't regret owning a unique piece of Americana! Hurry, supplies are extremely limited and this ammunition may never be offered again! "

bolus, you forgot the most important line:

"BATF is considering banning this ammunition because, under some circumstances, it can defeat body armor worn by law enforcement personnel."

;)

They're going to ban it!? Man, I'm glad I immediately ordered 10,000 rounds when I got the email from Midway. I'll make a killing post ban selling it for 3 times the price. Everyone needs to have purple ammo :p

My first thought when I saw the Midway email was "Gee, isn't that nice of Homeland Security. First they buy up all of our ammo but now they're letting us buy some of theirs."
