Looks like PSA is coming out with a 5.7 PDW similar to the HK MP7 in overall profile, and which takes PSA Rock 5.7 mags. MSRP will be under $1k.

It's neat to see more gun options in 5.7 and I'm glad to see a sub $1k price point, but personally I would be more inclined to buy it if it were chambered in 9mm or .45 ACP.

Well, PSA has been doing some neat stuff with their offerings - they are starting to offer the ability to buy frames, barrels, and other parts so you can assemble to your preferred specs. If they offer a version with a non-threaded barrel and a pic rail rear end (or the ability to assemble one from those parts) it would just be considered a pistol.

Not really interested in 5.7 PDWs that don't take the P90 mag as I already have three PS90s.

The thing about the P90/PS90 factory stock is that it won't hold up to thousands of rounds put thru it; it develops micro-cracks and then needs to be replaced.

Putting a charging handle meant for a rifle on a PDW looks like a dumb idea to me. Wasn't interested anyway but that was the icing on the cake

Are they gonna release this right after the mp5 clone they have said they will be releasing almost every year now for what 7, 8 years?

Edit: Looks like it is 7 years. This video is 4 years old and the PSA guy said they have been saying it for the last 3 years in a row prior to that. It never did come out.
