It really depends on if you're going to run a magnifier or not. If it were up to me I'd go with the cantilever mount just so I have the option of adding a magnifier later on.

EDIT: Might I interest you in the Vortex Sparc or strikefire(get the red only version, its much brighter than the red/green)? Both come with a great lifetime warranty. Also, look at the LUCID HD7, I heard that is a great sight as well.
