Brand new brass, $130 / 50ct brass and I'm crushing primers trying just to get them flush.
Started with Win LRMs and I crushed 3 out of 5 ... ran in the only uniformer I had and they go in a little easier. Switched to CCI250s and it seems a little easier. Still have to hammer it home for barely flush :(

Lots of material coming out with the uniformer.
Side notes- 91 grains of WMR pushes 250gn bullets 2825 fps.

Apparently its a thing with Peterson and 338LM brass.
If I run that scraper all the way to the bottom with a drill CCI250s get flush without crushing.

Well after a bunch of work I managed to get all 50 primed. Some info I didn't know - Win Large Rifle primers are the tallest primers.
Moving to CCI was a good move.
The uniformer I got barely got it deep enough , still used the scraper to clean out the corners. Near the flash hole is not the problem, its plenty deep.

Well I loaded all 50 cases and was getting ignition (CCI250s). Drug them 400miles to shoot, click...click...click... :s0118:
Got 1 to fire out of 10-15, still crushing. Ready to buy some Lapua or even PPU.

Finally bought some ADG 338LM brass for this Savage Precision...
Zero ignition issues!

At least 5 shots.

Quite a few shots inside an inch, maybe smaller. I'm not the best trigger man (rusty) so I was pretty happy considering its 338 Lapua Magnum.
