Before this thread gets locked for not being firearms related, hear me out. This bill allows the police to set up "sobriety checkpoints" as in California. Does anyone happen to know what these checkpoints entail? Do they run your ID, or just look at you to see if you've been drinking? Do they randomly make people get out of their car and take sobriety tests?

Aside from it taking this state one step closer to East Germany, the reason I'm asking about this here, is I can see it possibly causing problems for CHL holders. I'm imagining they would put all the rookie cops on the checkpoints that would freak out about it and ruin my night. Am I thinking too much into it?
