You're doing it wong, bullet is supposed to be facing the same direction as the pointy end.

 hmmm... While I'd like to believe in miracles*, I'd like to see the mag... it's more likely it was loaded backwards, and then he racked a round.

* (it's probably more likely that a Bigfoot was living un-detected in the White House.......
....ooops sorry, I forgot Michelle!)

The odds of racking the slide to clear a jam and having the round land back into the chamber backwards?
1: I do not posess enough appendages to reliably count that high.

Hard to imagine, given the infinite number variables... but I hesitate to call it impossible.

Even "professionals" get it wrong sometimes

I have a G43 and G43x that have been my daily carry pieces for YEARS now. Except for the front slide-cut serrations on the 43x, they have the same slides and barrels that can interchange…. no, nope, never have.

cleaning rod down the barrel to push it out the chamber.
Do not stick a cleaning rod down the barrel, to push a round out like this. It has a live primer, to be on the safe side, don't use any tool that might touch the primer.

CRBMoA, I think you need to say the words, just to make sure.

I have had this happen where I think the round flipped over on feeding and if you lock the slide it will usually fall out or may need a light tap. You won't need enough force to set off primer and with a rod or dowel over primer size there is no chance of setting of the primer. Reloading uses a rod primer diameter with a fair amount of force and no problem. Use your brain and lose the paranoia.
