Actually . . . that is a correct statement. Though it sounds odd to us gun-types, the 'caliber' of the weapon is 84mm. It's just as correct as saying 3.3" caliber.

When I was active duty I checked machine guns and other weapons in on commercial flights. Declared of course. This may have been a soldier traveling for training who forgot to declare it.

Your own forces' weapons are not DEWT because they are not war trophies. "Colonel, please sign my bring back papers for my squad mate's launcher!"
