I found this in my wife's junk drawer, I didn't know it was there
she says she bought it at Value Village years ago
it's an old Chicago Cutlery forged Santoku design, almost all Chicago Cutlery modern knives a stamped
also note the emblem on the blade, this is not the standard Chicago Cutlery logo
from my research, this is for the old "Butcher" line of knives, the high end set from Chicago Cutlery
still working on the blade after years of banging around in the junk drawer
used for the first time last night - the heavy forged blade cuts very well, but still needs some work
going to use my new Japanese 3000 grit rod on it today
a good companion for my new Gyuto knife
