For sale is a Noveske upper receiver assembly patterned after the elusive CQBR Mk18 RIS II prototypes, of peak-GWOT-glory. Round count is likely 600 total on the barrel (all suppressed), probably 1000 total on the upper receiver. URG is from my personal collection, and all parts purchased new.
Upper Receiver:
Noveske 2010 manufacture, Johnny-era N4, fits comfortably snug in a Gen.1 X-prefix N4 Lower. No slop in the retaining pin holes.
Barrel:
Noveske 2016 manufacture, 10.5″ Cold-Hammer Forged, 1:7 twist, FSP barrel, 5.56 NATO, thicker profile.
Boringly accurate with Mk262 Mod.1. Bore looks great, clean chamber and smooth feed ramps. Barrel nut installed to 50 foot pounds. FSB is vertical to 0 degrees (let your OCD take a day off).
Rail:
Daniel Defense RIS II FSP FDE, date code 27SEP14, NSN marked. Front end was cut and hand-filed by me, back when we had to chop our own rails, up-hill, both ways. Fresh metal was spot-Cerakoted in a homebrew match to DD's anodizing. Perfect alignment and even torque to the upper.
Upper runs great. With an H3 buffer, F/A BCG, SOCOM 556RC, and M193 it ejects about 3 o'clock IIRC.
Photos below are an accurate representation of cosmetic condition. Has been cleaned and looks nice, but does show signs of carry and suppressed use, scratches and carbon, etc. Upper has been properly baptized in the hills of Grants Pass.
